3M 8247PA1 R95 Carbon Mask

3M™ Particulate Respirator Mask 8247PA1 R95 with Carbon, adds a layer of industrial-grade carbon to provide respiratory protection from nuisance level¹ household and occupational odors, including vapors from latex paints, solvents, degreasers, resins, and more. This NIOSH R95-rated∗ respirator also reduces inhalation exposure from allergens, dust, bacteria, viruses, mold, oil and non-oil based mists, and other particles you want to avoid. At home, the 3M carbon mask is perfect when painting, woodworking, changing the oil or working with non-hazardous household cleaners. Occupationally, potential applications include in automotive, agriculture, foundries, lab settings, and petrochemical manufacturing.  Package contains one (1) disposable mask.

∗	NIOSH’s R95 rating encompasses and exceeds the NIOSH N95 rating, with the “R” signifying the respirator is also oil resistant. In other words, an R95 rating means at least 95% particle filtration efficiency down to 0.3 microns, including oils.

The 8656ES R95 respirator is 3M’s consumer/retail version of its 8247 R95 respirator, which 3M sells in the industrial market. The 8656ES mask is exactly the same as the 8247 mask except that it is sold as a single unit. The mask that customers receive in their package when they purchase an 8656ES from us is the 8247 mask.
