The AIRCARE DC1003PK Demineralization Cartridge (3 cartridges) is engineered to help prevent unwanted mineral build-up and deposits within AirCare Ultrasonic Humidifiers. These cartridges work exclusively with the Mesa and Duet Humidifiers. Mineral deposits and build-up often occur when “hard water” is used in ultrasonic humidifiers instead of distilled water. “Hard water” is a term used to describe water with a high dissolved mineral content, often including magnesium and calcium. Over time, when mineral heavy water is continuously used, it can start to weaken the internal systems of your ultrasonic humidifier. However, AirCare has designed the 3-Pack Demineralization Cartridges to help prevent this from happening. Demineralization cartridges should be replaced every 2-3 months, depending on use. The AirCare DC1003PK Cartridge comes with a 30-Day Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty.
