Blueair Pro Series SmokeStop™ Filter is an activated carbon filter specifically designed for environments with heavy gaseous pollutants, such as smoke, odors, and harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs). This unique v-shaped filter offers HEPASilent® technology – a revolutionary combination of the best in electrostatic and mechanical filtration to remove 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.1 micron. The activated carbon Blueair Pro Series SmokeStop™ Filters is a blend of magnesium dioxide and copper oxide that work together in the form of hundreds of pellets to trap annoying odors and dangerous chemicals. The porous structure of carbon makes it ideal for trapping gas and odor, with one gram of activated carbon providing a surface area of over 1,000 square meters. Blueair filters are a progressive gradient filter structure that functions many filters in one, trapping particles of all sizes while maintaining maximum airflow. Made of naturally antibacterial polypropylene fibers these filters prevent bacteria and mold growth, so you’ll never add harmful particles back into the air.
