The 3500i is a Low Grain Refrigerant (LGR) dehumidifier. LGR dehumidifiers have better heat exchange and defrost abilities than regular refrigerant dehumidifiers, and are able to continue removing moisture in drier environments. This advantage helps the LGR 3500i work conditions with extremely low relative humidity. The Dri-Eaz LGR 3500i dehumidifier can pull water out of carpets and pads, subfloors, framing materials, and drywall.

This powerful LGR mold remediation dehumidifier uses built-in sensors, the unit continuously monitors system performance and automatically adjusts its adjusts airflow and defrost cycles to maximize performance in high or low humidity conditions, and the electronic control panel clearly displays humidistat settings plus real-time inlet and outlet temperatures and relative humidity conditions. The LGR 3500i provides high performance with low energy consumption as it uses only 11.2 amps at AHAM (80°F/60% RH) to produce an amazing 170 pints daily – that’s over 21 gallons.

How LGR Dehumidifiers Work
Dri-Eaz low-grain refrigerant dehumidifiers operate by pulling moist air in across a very cold evaporator core. The moisture in the air condenses on the coil. In certain conditions, the machine operates in defrost mode, warming any frost that has accumulated on the evaporator coil back into water. The water collects in a tray and is pumped out through a hose. Onboard sensors continually monitor environmental conditions and system operations of the dehumidifier, including temperature and relative humidity, which can be viewed on the smart and easy to operate iSeries digital display control panel.
