The Fral FDK54 features convenient Continuous Drainage fittings. These fittings allow you to drain your Fral dehumidifier through a garden hose directly to a specific location. Continuous Drainage also eliminates the need for a water tank inside the dehumidifier. Without an internal water tank there is also no limit on the amount of water/moisture you can drain. Best of all, it means the unit does not require manual emptying. With no manual emptying you never need carry or empty a water bucket. Your garage dehumidifier will continuously drain on its own. This benefit is essential if you need to place your dehumidifier in hard-to-reach locations. Low crawl spaces or tight areas make carrying a heavy water bucket very difficult or sometimes impossible. Overall, continuous drainage provides more streamlined performance and hassle-free operation.

The commercial-grade Fral FDK54 Dehumidifier also features Low Temperature Operation. This means your dehumidifier can operate down to temperatures as low as 33°F and as high as 90°F. With the Automatic Hot Gas Defrost function, frost is automatically melted periodically during operation. This allows the compressor to resume normal operation faster and more efficiently.

The included Digital Humidistat automatically detects current moisture content within the air. This is important because it helps to better regulate your set humidity levels. Easy to read plus (+) and minus (-) buttons let you set your desired humidity levels between 30% and 80%.

The FDK54 basement dehumidifier features a droplet symbol on the display panel. This represents the Compressor. This symbol lights up when the compressor is running and flashes when the compressor is in defrost mode. The droplet symbol will completely dim when set humidity levels have been reached and the compressor disengages.

An included high-efficiency Polyurethane Air Filter helps regulate and control airborne particles that flow through the dehumidifier. This air filter is also hand-washable and reusable, eliminating the need for replacements and also helping to save you on replacement filter costs!
